I say, they are to that extent honest. However, in the case of the collapse of Marxian economics, the study has not yet been done before the collapse nor now after the collapse about the weaknesses and contradictions due to which it collapsed in 1989. After the Delhi meet, the Left leader Sitaram Yechuri, as per the press report, said that the analysis of the reasons for collapse has not yet been completed. Even after twenty years?
Capitalism is definitely on death bed. No one can now save it. What is then the alternative? It definitely cannot be Marxian economic system. People will never go back to the failed and past systems. They always look for a newer system for fulfilling their expectations. It has to be some thing new and opposite of both these systems. It could be a radical too. It has also to be eco-friendly. The world is still unable to find this new alternative. However, Hindu-economics has all the qualities to fill in this vacuum. It is the only system duly supported by economic theories, unlike capitalism and Marxian economics.
LEFT should not feel awkward to study this new Indian avatar of economics. They could have done this earlier when Mahatma Gandhi, JP Narayan, Dr. Lohia, Deendayal Upadhyaya, et al had shown the Indian way of socialism, which the Left could have adopted and presented this a model to the West and more particularly to the communist countries. This could have also been presented to the Delhi meet. But I am sure this will not happen.
The present article should have also talked about the shortcomings and contradictions within Marxian economic system which had failed the Marxian socialistic model of economic development.D G Bokarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11304789309499319341noreply@blogger.com
