Anti-fascist demonstration

As part of a pan-European demonstration of solidarity with the Greek people against the fascist “Golden Dawn” party, Anti-Fascist Action organised a march through Dublin on Saturday 19 January. More than two hundred people marched from St Stephen’s Green to the Greek Embassy. Speaking outside the embassy, Seán Edwards, member of the National Executive Committee of the CPI, called on all people of whatever political persuasion to stand up and fight against the rise of fascism.
